Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey has reached a new rate agreement with St. Joseph’s Healthcare System that will keep St. Joseph’s Healthcare System in the Horizon Hospital Network.

The rate agreement means that Horizon BCBSNJ members can continue to take advantage of St. Joseph’s Healthcare System’s services on an in-network basis. Benefits to members include in-network access to all St. Joseph’s Healthcare System’s facilities and all services, including elective procedures and inpatient and outpatient services.

As part of the rate resolution with St. Joseph’s Healthcare System, Horizon BCBSNJ will rescind the termination of network agreements with physicians affiliated with the hospital system. Horizon BCBSNJ members can continue care with those physicians on an in-network basis.
